The Future of SEO in Singapore
The will never be an exact formula for an optimal SEO campaign, as many consultants or marketers would have found out by now. While i cannot forsee a decrease in the demand and importance of optimising sites and promotional web marketing efforts, the future of SEO, in my eyes lay in logic. What do i mean?
Well, go on, google “SEO tutorials” and you’ll get a vast haul of information on how to optimise your site for the engines. Practically anybody who shoves in decent effort and has an elementary sense of following instructions can “SEO” their site. Exactly! This is where and why search engine coders and developers constantly refine their algorithms and keep tight lip over complex evolving ones.
The Challenge
Many SEO’s constantly test and implement new coding techniques to spot optimal markup, while others insist that content is the key. Conversely, there’s an army of smart-mouth martketers who disagree with the whole SEO process and declare it useless because of low conversions. To an extent this is very true. Lets say ive SEO’d a whole site and now the site brings in 500000 visitors every month, but hey, whatever happened to targeted traffic and conversions? I see a bright future for SEOs that can correctly identify usability and conversions.
So we all know already to be good biys and girls and dont spam the engines and participate in any form of black-hat techniques. Right….. and whatever happened in November 2003 when Google changed their algoritms causing many top ranking sites to disappear? One algoritm they changed was the anchor text in links, causing any sites to lose their valued positions.
Stay Updated…constantly if this is your industry
Yes, that’s the safest way to beat the devalued sites and remain on top of your competition. Get updated constantly and practise effective strategies to feed the engines what they want.
